Security is the product, not a feature
We handle some of the most sensitive records a family has. That means doing things properly: privacy built in from the first line of code, controls designed to be audited, and no shortcuts that we'd be embarrassed to explain. If you care about getting this right, you'll be among people who do too.
Built by people who've done it before
Wardline was founded by people with backgrounds running regulated, audited infrastructure. We bring that discipline to a product space that has rarely had it, and we'd like to work with people who enjoy learning from it and adding to it.
Small team, real ownership
Early on, everyone's work is visible and everyone's voice counts. You won't be a cog. You'll help shape the product, the engineering practices and the culture.
How we work
- Principles we publish. No ads, no selling data, no feature tiers, free court exports. We hold ourselves to them publicly, and we expect to be held to them.
- Written down, then built. We make decisions deliberately, record why, and revisit them honestly when we learn something new.
- Verified, not assumed. "It should work" isn't the same as "we checked". We test against the real thing.
- Flexible and humane. Wardline was started by a parent, and we plan around real life, and we work remotely where it makes sense.
- Everyone is welcome. Families come in every shape, and so do good teams. We're committed to equal opportunity and to building a team where everyone belongs, regardless of background, identity or family situation.
Who we'll be looking for
As we grow, we expect to hire across engineering (web, mobile and cloud infrastructure), security and compliance, product design, and customer support. We especially value people who've worked in family law, mediation, social work or other family-support roles, and people who have lived experience of co-parenting.
